GIS – Data Management/Conversion

City of Pawhuska, Oklahoma
Build a GIS database to house the city’s electric system data, including poles, transformers, guy wires, switches, reclosers, capacitor banks, primary configuration and circuit, and secondary configuration. Upon completion of data conversion from paper maps, we will implement Delorme XMap as Pawhuska’s GIS software application. DDSI will provide training for city personnel, both office and field technicians, on the use of XMap GIS Suite. We provide ongoing technical support and data updates as required.

We have created, updated and maintained their mapping for their gas gathering pipeline system since 2002, consisting of over 3500 miles of pipeline, compressor stations, meters, valves, pig launchers and receivers. This data was originally in AutoCAD with a geo-referenced land base. The data is now maintained in ArcGIS, following a data conversion DDSI completed in 2007. Quarterly updates of the map books are issued to field personnel. Also updated on a quarterly basis are the system wall maps. On an as-needed basis we prepare custom presentation maps, and power point presentations. We also analyze pipeline data to determine proper payment of ad valorem taxes, for acquisitions, and for planning purposes.

Atlas Pipeline Partners Tulsa, OK
DDSI performed a data conversion from AutoCAD to GIS for gas gathering systems in Oklahoma, Texas and Arkansas. We maintained and updated changes to system in ArcGIS. Implemented Delorme XMap for field technicians (over 150 users) and provided technical support and training.

Williams Mid-Stream Energy Tulsa, OK
We are currently involved in an XMap implementation for 6 field offices. Initially there are over 70 users from various departments including pipeline maintenance, cathodic protection, utility one-call, and well-connects. We will be hosting multiple training classes and assist with the rollout of the data as well as provide technical support and data updates/maintenance.

Frontier’s pipeline data was being maintained in ArcGIS at a corporate level, but they needed a GIS solution for pipeline field personnel who needed access to the company’s pipeline data in a user friendly mobile application. We implemented Delorme XMap GIS and assisted with data rollout and provided training for field personnel and data manager.

Field data collection all above ground features and known locations of underground infrastructure on 9,000 miles of fiber optic routes in Texas, New Mexico, California, Arizona, Washington, Utah, Nevada, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Colorado.
Combined field data with as-built data to create attributed information for input into GIS.
